Health Ministry
"Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?"
I Corinthians 6:19
About our ministry

Our Health Ministry is dedicated to promoting the abundant life that God desires for each of us—physically, mentally, and spiritually. We believe that true health is a gift from God and a vital part of our Christian witness. Through a variety of community-based projects, we seek to inspire and equip individuals to live healthier, more fulfilling lives. Our initiatives include Health Expositions, the Maker Heals program, Cooking School, Health Small Groups, a Running Club, Massage services, and Hydrotherapy sessions. Each activity is designed to educate, support, and connect people on their journey toward wholeness.

We are also blessed to operate Zera 7, a health-focused vegan restaurant that serves delicious and nutritious plant-based meals in a welcoming atmosphere, reflecting our values of stewardship and compassion.

E. G. White, Medical Ministry, p. 259
"The gospel of health is to be firmly linked with the ministry of the Word. It is the Lord’s design that the restoring influence of health reform shall be a part of the last great effort to proclaim the gospel message."

  • Health Exposition
Health Exposition is a time where we invite the public to come and find out more about there health. There are 12 stations where they can find out things like their weight, blood pressure, and by taking a short survey, even their health age. The remainder of the stations also teach things about Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunlight, temperance, Air, rest, and Trust. Each of these teachings plays a different role in our overall bodies’ health. How’s your health? Ask about our next health Expo to come and check it out.
  • Maker Heals is organised in partnership with Zera 7. Maker Heals is an 8 day “live-in lifestyle” treatment program, without having to live-in a facility, but you can still go to school or work. However the daily diet, exercise program, and lectures can surely be a beneficial as if you had actually check into a lifestyle center. Contact Zera 7 or our pastor if you are interested in joining the next session.
  • Cooking School
Cooking Classes has been active. A different chef/teacher each month. Many times it was a foreigner from our church or language school that shares two or three recipes from their country or Vietnamese recipes that they have learned. We have done such classes as Korean Kim-bab, pumpkin bread, pumpkin soup, black bean burgers, many tofu dishes, and a variety of noodle dishes. It is always fun to learn about new spices and new ways to cook an favorite meal. The best part of the class is that we get to eat what we have cooked. It is always a joy eating, laughing, and enjoying the company of one another.
  • Health small groups
Our Adventist Youth Program meets most Saturdays at 14:30 after the service and lunch. It’s a vibrant time for singing, games, team activities, and meaningful worship. Each week we explore a topic together, growing in faith and friendship.
  • Runnig club
Running Club has been active, divided into 3 groups – the speedy runners, the slower runners, and the walkers. The whole point of the running club is to encourage one another to get more exercise and hold each other accountable. Running, stretching, and praying together is an excellent way to start any day.
  • Massage
Massage is highly beneficial for the body and overall well-being. Physical touch, whether through a simple touch or a prolonged hug, enhances health and emotional balance. Massage techniques go even further by targeting muscles and pressure points to relieve tension, pain, and stress. Learning how to apply these techniques correctly and understanding the body’s pressure points can bring significant healing and comfort in many situations.
  • Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy training is beneficial for everyone to know. This natural method of healing has been used for thousands of years and brings health to the body in many ways. Water can be applied in various forms—hot, cold, steam, or compresses—to aid recovery from issues like pulled muscles, sore throats, or even deep lung problems. Water is truly a God-given healer. We’ve had excellent teachers come and train us in how to use water effectively to support the body’s healing processes.
